Why I Write: A Manifesto
I write because my stories matter.
I write to be heard.
I write to gain clarity.
I write to make my thoughts and ideas real.
I write because I can't not write.
I write to quiet my thoughts.
I write to heal the festering wounds on my soul.
I write to remember.
I write because I am a writer.
